Just curious what everyone's favorite lightsaber duel was in the movies? I'm not sure what my favorite one is, as there are so many, but I did like the one between Obi-Wan and Grievous.
I would have to say either the Darth Maul duel or the duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan. I love the score for those two sequences (Duel of the Fates and Battle of the Heroes are the track names on their respective CDs).
I'm going to go with the Luke and Vader duel on Cloud City. Its equal (in my opinion) to the ROTJ duel BUT unlike the other duels this includes the very dramatic revelation that Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker.
I'll go with the Palpatine and Mace Windu duel in ROTS. It was a pretty cool scene when Palpatine pulls out his red blade for the first time. Plus he kills three Jedi in like five seconds.
The duel in ESB, hands down, although the ROTJ duel was great as well.
Duel of the fates in TPM was pretty cool and definitively my favourite.

Anakin vs Obi Wan tops all!!!! Makes Darth Maul and young Obi Wan seem like padawan kids playing around in comparison. All that Lava, dark sky, music, and intense fighting. The lightsaber duel between Obi Wan and Anakin was much more technical than Maul's style. They tried every trick in the book to strike each other down. Punching and kicking where as Maul just flips about and tries to look acrobatic and cool.
he best so far is the one in ESB !!!! I still enjoy that fight out of the rest because it is....it has that.....yo know...cold......kinda....dark....scary...metalic.....its got that awsome feel to it!
I got a pretty good kick out of yoda vs. count dooku, it was pretty funny... also right before that when anakin tried to take on dooku himself... that was pretty cool with two lightsabers...
Palpatine vs Yoda duel in ROTS, I was always wanting to see a duel between Palpatine and Yoda. I also was wanting to see a duel in the Senate, that was one of my daydreams.
Sidious versus Mace tops them all. I mean it opens with Palpatine killing three Jedi Masters in a few seconds. Pure AWESOME! Then Mace dies and Anakin is turned. The ultimate Sith victory.
Well, I have to say that my favorite may come as something of a surprise: Dooku versus Anakin and Obi-Wan aboard the Invisible Hand. Why, because it's simple because (lightsaber form II (Makashi) is my favorite by far), I love Dooku's elegant, refined 'fencing' style, and his curved saber is pretty cool. Seeing him take on both Jedi at once with elegant yet efficient sweeps of his blade was cool. My only complaint is that the fight was too short.
My favorite duel is the famous throne room duel. It's just so... classic; red and green clashing, while the Emperor sits there, just watching. Plus, the Emperor's cackling adds that sort of furiousness.
