Does anyone have a date for when this will air in the United States?

I doubt for awhile, considering "The Next Doctor" hasn't even aired yet here.
Well, I give the episode an 8, it was a good romp with plenty of cool bits but ultimately unfulfilling. The Waters of Mars looks more interesting.

Nice to see UNIT kicking some Arse, and I liked that the Captain actually wanted to shut the Doctor in- Considering I find Lee Evans annoying at times I thought he was ok here, and I wouldn't be horrified at seeing him again, just don't over do him. The Malcoms and the Bernards were brill!

I would have liked some kind of explanation about the psychic woman though. Maybe we'll get it later, but she seemed weird to me. There's 'light psychic powers' and then what she was foreseeing. Seemed a bit much to me.
For a special, it felt quite small and contained, but that's never a bad thing for a Doctor Who story. I liked Christina very much, although I did think it made a nice change from the recent norm for the Doctor not to have invited her along as a companion. Thought Lee Evans was very good as Malcolm, in fact the whole supporting cast was rather good.

The only thing that bugged me was the size of the wormhole. They said it had expanded to ten miles, and yet it was still inside that tunnel with unit standing just a few yards away.

This gets a 9 out of 10 from me. Smile
For any Canadian fans here, Planet of the Dead will air on SPACE on 20th June (a Saturday). No date for you Americans yet.
We got broadcast dates: US Broadcasting Details for Tennant Specials

The Next Doctor will air on 9:00 PM on June 27th on BBC America
Planet of the Dead will air sometime in July (no date set yet)
That's good to here, I just hope BBC America doesn't decide to hack the specials apart like they did with Christmas Invasion, Runaway Bride, and Journey's End. Pinch
For those who are living under a rock, Planet of the Dead aired last night on BBC America.

I thought it was pretty good episode but not amazing. I thought they spent too much time sitting around on the alien planet trying to fix the bus without any sense of eminent danger. The life form that goes around devouring things is both simple and effective. It sounds natural because we see it on Earth.

I really liked Michelle Ryan and actually wished she was the new companion. I also loved seeing UNIT being in awe of the Doctor and working with him.

I vote it an 8.
