So of the two publishers that have printed Star Wars books, who do you think was better? My favorite is Del Rey for the sole reason that they are more exciting/intense (the 'good guys' don't always win). What do you think?
I voted for Del Rey. I'm impressed with them in the beginning, though lately they've been disappointing in some areas. However, it stills beats some of those Bantam books.
Bantam is my choice.

Del Rey's era has been one of just continued destruction and failure, with the deaths of many characters I really liked - most of whom were introduced in Bantam novels.
I voted Del Rey because they gave us the NJO. However, more recently, most of the stories I just haven't cared for all that much but it seems they are trying to change things for upcoming books. But Bantam books shouldn't be forgotten either, since they gave us Thrawn trilogy and the X-wing series.
Although both of them have given us some really good books, I'm gonna vote for Bantam. Bantam pretty much wrote the backgrounds for the characters we saw in the movies. They're the ones who got us hooked into the EU.
Don't have a preference, after all both have their share of good stories as well as bad ones.

Same is true for me, in fact there should be a poll choice for that.
