Recently I obtained a bunch of old 70's/80's Star Wars comics I gotta say... they were kinda better than I expected. Sure it was cheesy and long before there was an ACTUAL Expanded Universe... but the collector in me was intrigued and now I'm considering actually searching eBay for the entire run (which was around 150/170 issues or something?). Anyway, was wondering are these comics worth spending the time to track down or are they a waste of money?
Oh, Marvel's comics were good, but if you do plan on reading them, and I mean this for the sake of your sanity, evade the big bunny, he makes Jar Jar look good by comparison!
Is it possible to find these comics collected? Did Marvel put out TPBs?
Marvel comics have some good stories and some bad ones, just as Quest21 said, avoid the big bunny.

All 107 issues of the original SW comics have been compiled by Dark Horse into seven trade paperback versions:
Classic Star Wars: A Long Time Ago... (under Collections)

Oh cool! I just assumed there weren't any trades of this since Marvel lost the SW license, never thought that Dark Horse would acquire the rights to reprint Marvel material.
