The Millennium Falcon and the Y-Wing fighter.
The Y-Wing figher, sure it may not be fast but can take quite the pounding and give back double with some very powerful fire power, and has a droid for on board repairs. If your a ground target and you come up against a Y-wing you can probably kiss your butt good-bye.
I also liked the N-1 (the Naboo fighters from Episode I), which has more firepower than an X-wing, and is faster and more maneuverable, plus it can take more hits because of the design, plus it has the astromech socket.
The Millennium Falcon and the AT-AT.
The Millenium Falcon! It's a classic! It has hyperspace capabilities, hidden compartments, great weapons, you can put it on autopilot and hang out in a different part of the ship, fits 4 people in the cockpit, plus I like the fact that you can get up and walk around.
I'm also fond of the A-wings fighters.
Love the Falcon (easy choice) and Slave 1, although I gotta show much love for the TIE fighter and Speeder Bike.
