Galaxies Realm

I don't know about the rest of you, but I loved the "Tales of" books they put out years ago. So, do you think they should be bought back? Would you buy it? Is there any kind of specific stories you'd like to see?

I would definitely buy new ones.

I liked the way the old Tales books would flesh out the background characters from one scene. Perhaps we can have a Tales of the Jedi council or Tales of the Sith.

I'd buy them as long as: they are new stories and not just reprints, and they get some new sci-fi authors not just Forgotten Realms writers.

I've never read the current 'Tales of' books, are they good? I'd probably read a 'Tales of the Sith' book if they made one.

Most likely if they bring it back, they would be books like Tales of the Old Republic or Tales of the Galactic Alliance. There is tons of material from both eras to put together nice-sized novels, especially the Old Republic. Also, Tales of the Great Hyperspace War, Tales of the Jedi Council and Tales of the Sith would be pretty cool.

Definitely they should bring them back.

I'dd love to read a short story about Asajj Ventress and Qinlan Vos. What happen to them after the Purge. Also some short stories on Thrawn would be nice too. And Darth Maul of course.

i'd like to see more tales books also, especially a yoda one. maybe some old republic stories, like from around the tales of the jedi-kotor era.

I first I thought that the "Tales of the Old Republic" was too broad of a title, but actually it might be a really good idea as a tie-in to the MMO they're doing. A tale from the Jedi perspective, bounty hunter perspective, trooper perspective etc.
