I'm going to be working on an new credit system to replace the one the board currently uses.

Any suggestions on what you want to see added or improved?

I have two suggestions, mostly small things. First, in a user's profile, does the credit thing need to display as a separate box? Couldn't it fit in one of the other boxes? And second, the donate form could see from some improving, the form itself looks pretty rough, like the creator didn't know HTML perfectly.

Other than that, nothing.

How about the ability to earn a different amount of credits in different forums? Like 10 credits in the Debate Room and only 1 credit in Quizzes and Games. Is that possible?

Also, how about credits for referrals?

In addition to what's already been started, there should be some way for (at least) moderators to fine a user's credits if they break the rules of sorts.

Along the line of fines, maybe credits should be deducted if you get a warning if it already doesn't do that.

Yes, that stuff will be worked on. For the profile display, credits will now display under the Warning Level in the Forum Info box. And yes, the donate form will be improved to match other forms on the site.

For forums its possible and will be added. Credits for referrals is also being worked on.

There will be a new fine function added and I'm also exploring the possibility of having credits deducted if you receive a warning.

How about being able to earn credits in the Arcade? Like a jackpot for if you get 1st place, or maybe to pay to play a game.

Yes, I'm hoping to have an add-on module that will allow me to change for games, a jackpot for winning 1st place and (hopefully) a minimum score needed to win any amount of credits.

In addition, I'm hoping to allow users to earn credits when they upload an attachment and pay to download them. I'm also hoping I can create a banking module to allow users to store credits and earn interest and a lottery module to buy tickets to play in a lottery.

How about showing how many credits a user has in the PM post info? I just noticed it currently doesn't show.

If you're still taking suggestions, how about earning credits for attachments (since I notice that I got the ability to upload now) and pay to download them.

How about a birthday bonus? You know, a bonus you'll earn on your birthday. And maybe a promotion bonus, a bonus you earn when you're promoted to a new usergroup.

Yes, credits will be shown in the PM postbit.

I like the suggestions but I'm not quite sure if the birthday bonus can be done (but I'll try of course).

On the cost to download attachment thing, will it be one-time or recurring? I would think one-time would be better here.

Other than that, when will we see the new system?
