Just because I haven't seen any news posted, the fifth series of Doctor Who will premiere 17 April in Canada on Space and also 17 April in the US on BBC America. No date has been announced for the UK, except that it will start around Easter.

The first three episodes of series 5 have been confirmed as The Eleventh Hour, written by Steven Moffat, The Beast Below, also by Steven Moffat and Victory of the Daleks by Mark Gatiss.

Also no surprise, series 6 has been confirmed and will start production in June.
Thanks for the updates. Pimp

Glad to see that BBC America are keeping the show, at least they treat it much better than Sci-Fi does.
I saw this bit of news... Red Button Preview of The Eleventh Hour

I think this first episode will probably go down as the most extensively previewed episode ever. Hope our UK users enjoy the clip. Sad
I'm looking forward to it too. Yes I just hope the first minute isn't just a recap of the regeneration.

I'm sure it will be plastered all over YouTube, so I don't think there'll be a problem with us seeing it.
Looks like season 5 is gonna be very good. April 17th seems so far away now. Pinch
Oh, I should say for us in Britain, the show starts on 3rd April. No transmission time as of yet, but few sites including the BBC Press Release posted a time of 6.25pm (but it has since been removed).

If nobody objects, I'd like to run the discussion polls for the new episodes.

No objection from me, so long as they get used. Yes
^I'll certainly be using them. Yes

In other news, here's a new trailer:

It got spoilers, including a shot of a previously unconfirmed monster returning...
The more I see and learn the more optimistic I am. Happy
