MyBB 1.6 was released last night so now all I have to do is wait until most of our themes and plugins are ported to it to upgrade the board. It'll also give me time to upgrade my 12 mods.

One question, will all the current themes be updated? I've grown attached to the Afresh Orange theme, and I'd hate to see it go.

All the current themes will be staying (there will however be a new default theme).
I should mention that the Afresh themes have been renamed Apart for 1.6. The Orange one will also be somewhat toned down in it's orange color. See for yourself:
